Native to Asia, these vibrant orange springtails flourish in warm, humid environments and thrive in those conditions.

Their large size and striking color make them an excellent food source for smaller animals, such as dart frogs, mourning geckos and small phelsuma.

These are cultured on our substrate mix and will be fully established before shipping. We do not cultivate this species on clay due to their requirements.

Ideal Conditions:

• Temperature: 75–85°F
• Environment: Moist and humid. Terra Flora, Fauna, Firma, Isopoda and some Aranea
• Ensure nutrient rich food is provided a few times weekly
• Do not let them dry out entirely
• Produce at an average rate than some other types of springtails, but are easy to culture
• Cultures will be a minimum of 1o days old before shipping
